Vision Board App for iPhone

The Good Plum Vision Board app started because I was looking for a tool to use on my iPhone that would allow me to create a mini vision board to carry with me. I had been writing ‘I am’ statements for years with some success, however when pictures were added to those phrases – they became even more powerful. When “power words” were added, even more so… when audio was added, even more powerful yet.
Though there are a few ways to create this on a computer (with built-in software or specific vision board software), everything I found was either A) unattractive or B) didn’t allow me to have an editable version to-go.
Why is having a portable vision board important?
Most of us spend a lot of time at a computer, but it might be at work. Many of us spend lots of time at home, but we may be distracted. A mobile vision board allows you to create and edit your board anytime, anyplace. It also allows you the freedom to put on headphones wherever you are, and flip through your visions multiple times per day – which is when REAL transformation takes place.
The Good Plum Vision Board app for iPhone is in development and scheduled for summer of 2009.

Features
The features listed below are what is tentatively planned. Some features cannot actually be brought to the iPhone until version 3.0 of their system software is released – sometime this summer.
Add an I Am Statement
The base of the I AM app is a “slide.” A slide contains a statement, a power word, an image, etc. The first thing you’ll add to a slide is your I Am statement. There will prefixes to choose from besides “I am” or you can also bypass the prefix and just enter any statement you choose.
Add an Image
Select from some beautiful pre-loaded images, or select your own to attach to the slide.
Add a Power Word
Adding a power word such as “Success” or “Love” — a single word that moves you — is a very powerful thing intended to increase the overall meaning of your slide.
Add Your Own Soundtrack
When iPhone version 3.0 comes out, you’ll be able to select a song or playlist to play while you are browsing your slides.
Animated Play
Each slide is smoothly animated when you play it back. You’ll be able to swipe your finger to go to the next slide, or set the slides to automatically play back-to-back (like a movie).
Friendly Interface
We’re not reinventing the wheel here. We’re implementing as many standard iPhone controls as possible so the action of creating and playing your vision board is as quick and painless as possible.
