It's small, sturdy, and has the gravitas necessary so I will both use it and not lose it. I number the pages and keep a running index on the inside back cover of what's in it in case I need to do a quick lookup of a phone number, quotation, car-repair estimate, or whatever.I write the dates it encompasses on the edge with a sharp permanent marker and shelve the completed notebook with the edge facing outward in case I want to look back.And don't get me started on my love affair with the elastic band that holds it together.
